How to Place an Order Please email us at info @ gotogreatpanes.com with the following: (with no spaces in the address) Item numbers and Quantities of what you'd like to purchase, Your preferred method of payment Online: Credit cards (through Google Checkout), Paypal, echecks, debit cards Through the mail: US Postal money orders (can only be purchased at US post offices, which we can cash immediately and send out your package right away), personal checks and cashier's checks (we wait until checks clear before mailing your order out). Along with the zip code to which the items will be shipped. We'll get back to you as soon as possible with information on the order's final cost and how to submit payment. (See "Payment" section below for more information.) Please do not email your credit card information to us, our email servers are not secure. Payments will be made through a secure web page. Custom orders may take up to 3 weeks after payment has cleared to be placed in the mail. If you need your item faster please let us know in advance and we'll let you know if we can do it on your schedule.

Shipping We ship through US Postal Service and occasionally through Fed Ex, and keep our shipping rates as reasonable as possible. Since the charges are based on actual purchases we can't list prices for all the purchases straight off. Below we've displayed samples of shipping costs to addresses in the continental US for items we have already shipped. We'll gladly provide a shipping quote that for orders that don't fall under the listings below. Glass is heavy, so sometimes shipping by Priority Mail in a flat rate box is actually cheaper than sending it parcel post. We'll adjust shipping charges for multiple items purchased in the same transaction and shipped in the same package whenever possible. Items are shipped at least once a week, but usually are shipped twice a week on Tuesdays & Fridays or Saturdays. If you need your items shipped on a different schedule please let us know. Custom orders may take up to three weeks to complete before they can be shipped. Shipping listed is for packages sent to US addresses. Please contact us for international shipping quotes. Additional costs: Sales Tax: New York and Connecticut orders will be charged sales tax unless paperwork is provided to show sales tax exemption for the transaction. Please send an email to place an order bound for NY, CT sales tax is automatically added during checkout. Signature Confirmation: Delivery Confirmation is included for all domestic packages at the rates listed below. It is very rare that we have a package that doesn't arrive safely and in a timely manner. If we have had a problem shipping to your domestic shippping address in the past, an additional $2.50 will be added to your shipping costs to cover signature confirmation & someone will need to sign for the package. Please contact us before ordering. If we have had issues with items going missing/being stolen from your international shipping address during a past transaction, we will bill you an additional $15 and your package will be sent via Registered Mail and someone will need to sign for the package for it to be delivered. Since it is handled with extra care the package may take longer than normal to deliver. Packaging materials are recycled whenever possible.

Payment We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, echecks and debit cards online, and US Postal money orders, personal checks and cashier's checks through the mail (we will wait until the cashier's check clears before mailing your order out). Sales Tax: NY & CT Orders shipped to New York State and Connecticut State addresses will be charged state and local sales tax as required by law. Please let us know the street address and zip code the item will be mailed to so we can give you the proper total before you pay.

Glossary of Glass Terms

Solder: The metal sections between the pieces of glass. Patina: Chemical treatment of the solder lines to give the metal a different color--black, soft black, copper. Iridized: Surface coating on the face of the glass which makes the surface shine a soft rainbow of colors, like on a soap bubble. Water Glass: Glass that has waves in it which catch the light as it comes through the making the glass lively. (Think of the way the bottom of a pool looks when the sun shines on waves.)

Questions

Why are some of the smaller pieces the same price as the larger ones?: Prices vary from piece to piece based on the price of the glass used, the number of glass pieces, and the difficulty in cutting, foiling and assembling the pieces.

Returns

Returns accepted for store credit at our discretions within a month of the mailing date or the delivery confirmation date. Please email us wait for a reply before you return your item(s). There is a 25% restocking fee on the item price for returns. Shipping/handling charges are non-refundable. Earring supplies that have been opened cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
