Paypal Classic–here's how I got it to stick!

If you are like me and are not a fan of the website design trend that has pages with oversized graphic links and very little text, then you’re probably not enjoying the new Paypal design very much.

After much searching for a permanent solution and switching the view back to classic every time I logged in (under “More”, “Switch to Classic”, answer the survey or close it, then proceed to the classic version of Paypal), I contacted customer support.

I sent an email in the middle of the night, received a generic reply (as usual) offering assistance with things I don’t need help with–and telling me that if the auto-reply didn’t answer my question, I should reply to the email.

I am so pleased to say, that after my 10 PM reply email to support, my account was set to Paypal Classic View as its default view as 3 AM of this morning. Huzzah!

What a relief to be looking at a professional looking, clean, concise & fast loading design where I can see many orders all at once as soon as I log in, instead of the oversized image-heavy slow loading new version where only a few orders fit on the screen at one time.

Now I know that Classic isn’t here to stay, but until I haaavvvvee to switch, I am glad to have easy access to the version of Paypal I prefer. 🙂

Thank you Paypal Support Rep for setting my account to Paypal Classic as the default!
